Under the bonnet of the new Camaro 2SS lurks Chevrolets 62L LT1 direction injection V8 with Variable Valve Timing and Active Fuel Management AFM. Like the ZL1 the 2SS features an external heavy-duty oil to air cooler which helps the engine generate peak performance efficiently.
